Our apologies for taking so long, but we just want to thank Joy Haven for helping us celebrate our big day. Ken and Monica went way out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly. They were absolutely accommodating with all of our requests. This kind of service is extremely hard to come by, and we greatly appreciated it. We honestly didn't have to worry about anything that night. Jesse and I recommend Joy Haven to anyone looking for a beautiful and unique venue that comes with amazing service. Thanks again you guys! For anyone out there considering Joy Haven as a venue... GO FOR IT!!! Ken and Monica are very helpful... their hospitality is amazing. Joy Haven is a beautiful spot for a wedding; winter, fall, spring, or summer. It would also be a great place for any type of gathering, it would great for a Holiday Party, or a family reunion. They include a lot in their price.... not too many places let you A) bring in your own food, B) let you BORROW things that you can use and dont have to waste the money buying because you wont ever use again (like wedding card box for example) they have a lot of that stuff INCLUDED in their price at no extra cost.... they are just AWESOME! Thanks Ken and Monica... for EVERYTHING!!!

our daughter and son(inlaw) were married at Joy Haven on Sept 18,2010. It was the most awesome day, snowed the day before and then the day of the wedding the snow was gone and it was a great day. Ken and Monica are the best. Super place to have a wedding. Thanks Ken and Monica for alot of great memories.

And Ken you were so right, the day went by so fast. So my advice to all the future bride and grooms out there is take in every second because before you know it everything is over. I was married on October 3rd, 2009 in Dickinson, and my husband and I had our reception and dance at JoyHaven. Ken and Monica were so great to work with! They allowed us to come out several times to take a look around and plan how we wanted things set up. They allowed us to try different setups, and even let us use many of their decorations! We had MANY ideas! They were accommodating, and gave us lots of ideas to make sure everything went smoothly. They worked quietly behind the scenes on our big day, making sure everything was perfect--and it was!! I definitely recommend chatting with them beforehand, as they know SO much, and they are probably the best wedding resource anyone could ever have! God bless you, Ken & Monica, you were truly a blessing to us on our big day!

Wow! That was what we heard from friends & family about having Nicole & Derryn's reception/dance at Joyhaven. The place is absolutely beautiful. Ken & Monica are rare people who radiate God's love. By the end of our last day they were like family to us. They open not only this rare, beautiful place to people but also their hearts and whatever they have is yours. Just attended the Berger wedding, AWESOME...this was the most unique and fun wedding that I have ever been too. My family attended the wedding for Holly and Jason. This rural farm setting was perfect for the couple. The wedding and reception hall were really a "princess" setting for the bride. The uniqueness of the building was transformed by the white drapery and formal table setting. The modern industrial look of the reception hall with kitchen and restroom facilities is a great added bonus. It was great to roll up the overhead door of the dance hall and enjoy the country setting and to be able to sit outside on the concrete patio with additional seating. Some enjoyed taking their first time limousine ride. I liked the fact that young people had the option to take the limousine ride back to town at the end of the evening. It was a wonderful celebration!
