Met with Linda Sailer of The Dickinson Press, for an upcoming Wedding Section. Also had a chance to talk with a future Bride and Groom who will be getting married. Anybody who really knows me I was speechless, not,. One of the things I mentioned is that marriage is about commitment and it is, for the long run.

For those having events here at Joy Haven, we have a pretty large inventory of items to be used FREE for decorating your event. Items have been donated by others and in turn you get to used them. We have silverware but we do not have glass plates yet, in time.
from the past posting we are pretty sure of turning the farm house into a bed and breakfast and with the new development going and we are looking at using one of the lots for a 48 plex, may help out with the shortage of places for workers but may help with Joy Haven housing for guest, the questions is this, Does this still fit into our vision and mission statement. http://www.joyhaven.com/ourvisionourmission.html

Joy Haven I have experienced so many talented young people, The President made a comment that We need to work for our children, our kids. When we loose someone wake up, take a stand, make a difference and move forward. Everyday gives you a chance to do what we have to do, sleep tonight, wake tomorrow and use that new beginning.
It's a new day, think outside the box, it's your chance to make a difference. Young at heart and still living.
VOTE, one of the best things about the U.S. is that we can vote, if you want to complain fine but if you did not vote, don't complain.
weather is like a marriage, one day you are blowing up at each other like a low pressure system and the next day we have smiles like the sunshine. Don't throw in the towel just because it is wet, it will dry out.
The Big picture: 3 lots are zoned commerical for future motel/hotel strip for guest. Joy Haven sub 2 will be for people to build houses with certain requirments that will enhance Joy Haven. Joy Haven will get bigger as far as more units to rent, more space for different events (converting the barn for smaller events) and in time steak house for outside guest and local guest. We are only starting.
ah yes, Sunday, the first day of the week, a day to lay back and reflect on the week to come if you choose, but most of all is that Sunday is a start of a new week, so whatever happend last week, let it go and start a new week.
For those who had booked a wedding/dance at Joy Haven and decided to cancel due to certain reasons, we have not forgotten you. If the time comes and it is right for you we will work with you.
To all the brides to be, don't worry about the small stuff, the day will be what it will be, the vendors will do the job they have to do, and most of all, the time is going to go so fast. Back to cutting the grass.
Our Bin is done, I mean our Master Suite is done. After showing the suite to several people I think it will be a success and blend into Joy Haven. When you come up to the bin you will see a "grain bin". As the door opens you will see a fancier door which leads to the main room. Fancy lights, king size bed, love seat. Who would suspect... this from the outside which is a grain bin. Now for the story: How many times do we come across a person who we judge by what we see, rough or wild person who we really do not know or want to know. Now open the door the inside of the person, you may be surprised by who is inside of this person, open the door and get to know the real person inside.
